Send messages or notifications to your friends or workmates via a system of alerts.

Desktop Alert is a small tool that lets you send messages or notifications to users, members, friends or workmates using a standard HTTP server. Each of the destinations will receive, on the desktop of their PC, the minute following its publication, their corresponding notification.

These messages sent by Desktop Alert are totally visible although they are running in the same screen as other applications or programs, as they appear as a pop-up in the Windows taskbar next to the clock. In difference to other similar programs, Desktop Alert hardly consumes system resources, so it won`t slow down your PC and you can easily work with it.

If you prefer, you can configure Desktop Alert to send the same message to various people or just one, and that it emits a sound when you get a new message or opens a window with the message. With this messaging system you can receive both messages from workmates, special offers, event news, the latest news, and also images, video, Flash animations and MP3 music files.
